Thread: Ultra slow 3 Mobile in 11:10

having done incredibly painless install impressed 3 mobile dongle recognised , worked.

while usable browsing, can't download updates, software or drivers.

dongle huawie. connects instantly never on 3g , on hsdpa (as in windows). in ubuntu usally connects on umts have never seen before. manage weak connection hsdpa drops umts , virtually unusable.

hoping in 300+ updates awaiting me might address problem download times out. need dload radion gfx support using vesa driver @ moment , slow desktop nightmare.

suggestions on improving connection, if possible appreciated.
