Thread: Installation of Ubuntu 12 doesn't boot


hi,

installed ubuntu on same hard drive windows 7 installation, on different partitions. however, when selecting "install boot menu entry", foolishly picked same partition ubuntu install, instead of entire hard drive.

result, pc boots straight windows. there way fix this, or have format ubuntu partition windows , whole process again?

ps: because had 3 partitions (from recovery programs pre-installed on laptop), not make 5th partition swap. come , haunt me @ point, or ok? ( installed ubuntu 64 bit on 8 gb ram machine ).

no, don't have format or reinstall.

, have created root , swap logical partitions, in case part of single extended partition , still within limit 3 primary + 1 extended. 8gb ram barely use swap anyway.
