teaser and movie on 1 dvd - best workflow ?

i've created 23 minutes movie. exported in 1080p/25 fr mp4

i've created 1 minute trailer (with save 'trailerxxx', new project, , deleted didn't need , add want want in teaser). exported in 1080p/25 fr mp4

so both files ok viewing on multi-mediadisc/tv screen in 1080p

now people ask me dvd. because know dvd has maximum quality/size , movie 23 minutes wanted add teaser on dvd.

what did (because don't know better :-) ) making third project, added 2 exported mp4 files (teaser , movie) , created dvd menu, headings , exported dvd format , burn dvd.

everything worked presume workflow not ideal best quality dvd ? suppose qualityreasons it's better work projectfiles ?

but how can (making third project 2 others without using exportfiles).

or there no difference in quality if use exported files did ?
