Thread: [12.04 i386] installer crashing

hi.
trying install 12.04 alongside ubuntu 10.04. want mother test unity before removing 10.04

running live cd choosing "test ubuntu" able copy wap2 key usb pendrive network dialog

launching "install ubuntu 12.04 lts", every thing fine until come "import account ?". select nothing , bam crashes.
after seems use network of on 1 minute (sending crash report ? or downloading updates ?)
reproducebable. happened twice. checked partition badblocks fine there.

1. can find log of installer send bug report meaningfull info ?
2. comes after "import account" in installer walk-through ?? crashing
3. how install 12.04 ?


also, live cd running got report crash in colord (not engaging)
, 1 in console time kernel finding null pointer inode problem on ext4 (!)

try new cd/dvd image written on it. if still crashes or freezes delete ubuntu 12.04 iso image , download again. burn cd/dvd. if continues file report on debian installer package can fix problem.

install unity on ubuntu 10.04 lts, test out. if likes upgrade ubuntu 10.04 ubuntu 12.04 through update manager. if doesn't unity try xubuntu 12.04. here command isntall unity on ubuntu 10.04

"sudo apt-get install unity"

whenever login choose unity ui.

hello,   a fellow employee requires adobe acrobat pro installed use, , management me have sorted out. employee uses thin client connect terminal server of administration work.   i require single license adobe acrobat pro used single user.   will there license issues installing adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   can install adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   thanks, david hi david,   yes, can install acrobat terminal servers... !   the licensing terminal server considered normal licensing process, means need buy many number of licenses acrobat number of users accessing terminal server (like citrix) access software. eg if 10 users accessing citrix server @ particular time use acrobat software need 10 licenses same. when i try using AE CC 3d camera tracker after the first step it says "Analysis solve failed." help?

im attempting editor , trying edit segment video game (bo2) , im trying have text stick wall in video. every time try using camera tracker spends 5 minutes completing first step , guess succeeds because goes second step says "solving camera" or that, red bar appears saying "analysis solve failed." do? if you're trying use 3d camera tracker on movie froma vieo game not shot real camera, camera tracker unable solve "real" camera matched scene.
