Thread: Lenses and symlinks not playing well together...

it seems if symlink videos folder somewhere else, video lense in unity won't find of videos.

e.g. /home/me/videos -> /mnt/disk2/videos

if restore videos folder folder, , throw video or 2 it, instantly found video lens, know it's not broken.

there way force lense videos elsewhere, or follow symlinks?


p.s. reason i'm doing way because home folder , os on small ssd, while lot of files, such music, videos , pictures folder, on bigger spindle drive.

bump...............i'd know solution too, can't find on this.
