Thread: Slow UBUNTU on Toshiba Satellite l650d - graphics not working?
hello,
i've been on ubuntu time , can't rid of feeling slower should. mean, hardware specs not bad(amd athlon ii dual-core p320, ram 4gb, ati radeon hd4200 512mb) shouldn't take 20 seconds load libreoffice's calc, should it? i'm suspecting graphic driver not doing job, don't know this. there 2 options in system > drivers: 1 of them calls error on activation , doesn't start working , other turns green , crazy things start happening (menus cut 45 degrees, things disappearing , appearing again...) lucky turn off again. still on ubuntu 11.10 gnome-shell
