Efficency

even since upgrading photoshop cs5.5 photoshop cloud, program has been going very slowly. i'm working 8 gigs of ram , have never had issue cs5.5. i've checked efficiency indicator , of time it's below 10%. after gave photoshop premission work more ram in preferences menu , having no othe programs open, still runs slowly. there bug or don't know about? i've looked online answers , edited few things try , increase preformance nothing has helped.
