Thread: NTFS network share
hi,
can't following thing working.
have dualboot desktop (win7 , ubuntu 12.04). both os have own partitions, share common ntfs partition (called x)
share common partition x on network when using ubuntu. have several other ubuntu computers in network, , when desktop booted (in ubuntu) able acces common partition every other laptop.
desktop has fixed ip. ssh option rather use samba use windows laptop acces partition.
partition loaded in boot because of entry in fstab , mounted in /windows/sto.
got map somehow shared under sudo, can't acces laptop...
how solve this?
using ubuntu, navigate folder want share.
right mouse-click, dropdown "sharing options".
tick "share folder", enter share name.
tick "allow others..." and/or "guest access.."
, save.
right mouse-click, go "properties", "permissions" add group account if necessary , folder access.
