Thread: Xen 4.1 and Ubuntu 12.04 - No Boot
hi, i'm hoping point me in right direction. i'm using ubuntu 12.04 install on dedicated server no access kvm or anyway see boot screen. i'm kinda in jam figure out is.
system boots fine in general, can use it, internet access, etc. however, once switch grub boot xen enabled kernel, system never boots. logs has no information on boot, know never booted system. since have no idea whats going on, hope point me in went wrong.
freshly installed ubuntu 12.04 system, first thing did install xen following command line:
sudo apt-get install xen-hypervisor-4.1-amd64 xen-utils-4.1 xenwatch xen-tools xen-utils-common xenstore-utils
grub boot menu options (no modifications, ubuntu maintained):
the normal kernel boots absolutely no issues @ all, i'm stumped.title xen 4.1-amd64 / ubuntu 12.04 lts, kernel 3.2.0-24-generic
