Thread: apt-get update removed my adobe-flashplugin

ubuntu 11.10:

run 'apt-get update' yesterday , has removed adobe-flashplugin:

php code:
the following packages will be removed
  adobe
-flashplugin
the following
new packages will be installed
  linux
-headers-3.0.0-19 linux-headers-3.0.0-19-generic linux-image-3.0.0-19-generic
the following packages will be upgraded
:

apt apt-transport-https apt-utils chromium-browser chromium-browser-l10n chromium-codecs-ffmpeg dpkg dpkg-dev etc.........
now don have flash anymore in browsers.

has happened flash-plugin? has ubuntu decied remove repo's?

btw: re-install fails:
php code:
 sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin
reading package lists
... done
building dependency tree
reading state information
... done
package adobe
-flashplugin is not availablebut is referred to by another package.
this may mean that the package is missinghas been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

e
package 'adobe-flashplugin' has no installation candidate
all universe/restricted/multiverse repo's enabled. 'download server in netherlands'.

i think name of package changed. check see if flash still working, if not, install synaptic package manager , flash among packages.
