New to PDF forms please help on one form field.

i using adobe acrobat 8.3

i want make new form auto add unique number 1 field when file opened.

name of field "client id" 

i have searched , searched , searched , yet @ loss need ones help, not understanding thing reading doing every thing people ask of me read , yet nothing  there 1 out there can me or  make 1 field form me can add rest of information form need on form

form emailed , printed , emailed or mailed back, total pages 10 pages long.

lets clear want achieve here. distributing form several people or use it. in later case can take of docready , docclose events. in docclose event set counter , increment it. when form opened fetch value , put in field want. user has save form, thing want achieve or else?
