0xc0000005 error, xp, elements 11

i keep getting 0xc0000005 error when trying open elements 11.  downloaded adobe website , program worked after downloading.  now, trying start project, error occurs.  have restarted computer no avail.  please help.

do have lots of programs running in background start-up. try launching task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) , selecting processes tab. highlight not using , click end process. try launching pse11 again.
