Integrating Bridge & Lightroom?

seems simple matter me , convenient. i'll testing on weekend hoping hear others , have benefit of insight when do, plan copy files sd card hd, pre-existing photography folder, use bridge browse , choose images want keep, cut , past images want keep lightroom "watched folder" "auto import" lr catalog. i;m still working through several resources, including martin evening's book, online "help", , online tutorials research ideas such workflow.

they work moderately together, you'd waste less time if decided use, learnt properly, , substantially forgot other one. need review in bridge first , decide move lightroom? if shoot high volumes, photo mechanic can play before-lightroom role better , faster bridge. if volumes aren't great, import pictures lightroom , use comparison mode decide keep.

 

also, autoimport isn't meant used way instead of import - it's closer in character tethering tools. can make want, it'll still awkward. might better off using folder synchronization, if still think bridge-lightroom route idea.

hi, relatively new linux (have used many live disks) , have had install of ubuntu 12.04 few days now. part have found easy use , have been comfortable it. have first question can't resolve myself: adding googles repository list. when first ran command supplied google found did not have wget installed. used apt-get install it. worked fine (as far can tell) re-ran googles code : wget -q https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub -o- | sudo apt-key add -deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free , message 'gpg: conflicting commands' tell me going wrong , how fix please new script : wget -q https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub -o- | sudo apt-key add linux_signing_key.pub need edit /etc/apt/sources.list , add line @ end deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free end hope find usefull edit: need root or use sudo make changes /etc/apt/sour...
