Thread: LO Writer, Abiword or Calligra Words?

hello everyone.

trying use libreoffice while , see if results in order use instead of msoffice. there 2 other free word processors haven't tried yet - abiword , calligra words

1 of applications recommend use instead of msoffice word , guarantee same quality in final product (important report, paper, etc)? 1 easier work word user? 1 offers best compatibility doc/docx format?

know opinion of ubuntu linux community this.

it depends. small projects, use abiword. larger projects, use lo. libreoffice more polished , professional abiword, bit more cumbersome. me, feels difference between driving old compact car , driving nice big van. don't know calligra. suppose if don't mind kde libraries pulls in, should give try.
