Converting .docx to .pdf fonts get changed and objects have empty boxes.

i using createpdf online. have converted .pptx .pdf , works fine. when convert .docx .pdf, problems arise. fonts changed (same fonts used in .pptx worked fine) , text boxes embedded in objects empty. solutions?
