Indesign Bullet or number position not working

i cannot feature work (indesign cs6)

 

i have long list of numbered items (over 300), there space between single , 2 digit numbers , first letter, because of course indent has accomodate 3 digit numbers.

 

select align right, , expect numbers switch right, if had set right align tab there before first character.

but nothing happens.

 

it not case of not enough space, since there enough , made larger necessary see if solved did not.

 

am misinterpreting position feature or bug of sort?

 

did not work in previous cs4 version of id either.
