Thread: USB start up disk not working
hi guys,
it's been while since last posted, got in past, i'm sure me figure out
i'm running ubuntu 10.10 , seems it's no longer supported, thinking give new , shiny 12.04 try, because lts. downloaded image, created usb start disk "startup disk creator", not able boot it. , yes, know how change boot order priority in bios , can see stick there. if click on usb stick now, message:
if run command get:error mounting: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
(could ide device in fact use
ide-scsi sr0 or sda or needed?)
in cases useful info found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or
i've tried 2 usb stick, don't think stick problem.dmesg | tail
