Thumbnail issue accessing files from a server

i running bridge cs6 on mac network -- current versions. have 1 mac on network set server several drives connected. when access files on server bridge different computer on network, works fine, until select image in bridge editing in photoshop. make edits, hit save, , when return bridge, file edited shows 0 byte size, , incorrect thumbnail (an image of drive icon) displayed). if click on same file again (to load photoshop) proper file size appears in bridge, along correct thumbnail.

 

when drive icon appears , file size shown 0, "purge cache selection" not correct issue. however, if go brige preferences , select "purge cache" file list in bridge refreshed, , correct file size appears, along correct icon.

 

this problem occurs consistently, despite accessing different macs, putting drives on mac fresh load of os-x, fixing permissions, deleting preference files, etc.

 

does have solution problem?

the advice photoshop forum is not recommenced save server.  save locally , copy server.  potential have file corrupted great when saving server.
