Thread: Mount ReadWrite option in Kubuntu 12.05 recovery

after upgrading kubuntu, rather surprised find after landing in recovery, root file system mounted, , read only. @ root shell prompt, mount command showed /dev/sdb2 (which /) mounted rw, file system not written to.

fortunately turn read write choose run fsck recovery menu. 11.10 used have "mount file systems in rw" mode or similiar in menu. seems have been removed? there way readd command recovery menu? i'm guessing script. can mount in rw doing fsck first, bit of bother.
