What's the best way to set up a wiro-bound booklet?

i'm setting wiro-bound booklet, , printer want each page full 3mm bleed.

however, when printed booklet appear spreads, prefer work viewed spreads in indesign.

 

the problem spreads they're not designed inner side have bleed, , bleed come opposite spread, want avoid.

 

as far can see, way set spreads , manually change it. i'm relucant because i've received file original designer , it's been set single pages.

 

(...and, irritatingly, page numbers put in manually, , not single paragraph style defined)

 

any appreciated.

ps - i'm working indesign cc

in case have @ least 2 options.

 

the first set facing pages, adding 3 mm page width , inside margin values, set bleed top, bottom , outside, , add slug area large enough hold manually drawn crop marks. add guides represent page edge @ gutter , manual crop marks on master. export using document bleed settings , include slug area, don't add automatic crops.

 

the second set facing pages @ trim size normal margin , bleed around, when ready output , need adjust bleeds @ gutter split spreads (see indesignsecrets » blog archive » breaking pages apart bleed off spine , there's script in comments). can breaking apart @ point, if want design spreads easier wait long possible.
