ELEMENTS 10 - RAW FILE

elements 10 - bougfht new camera, canon 70d. elements 10 doesn't recognise raw files though same file extension same other canon 60d. advice please.

every camera model must supported individually extension being same doesn’t matter as adobe having profiled camera , added support.

 

pse 10 never updated support 70d.  you’ll need pse12 should available in month or 2 , make sure updated acr 8.2 @ time.

 

in mean time there beta (release candidate) of dng converter 8.2 can use create dngs cr2 file, , should open in older versions of adobe camera raw plug-in such comes pse10.  keep in mind support 70d “preliminary” means color profile tweaked give better conversion final release.

 

you can use lr 5.2 rc has preliminary support , use edit in photoshop elements lr adjustments.
