Thread: NetworkManager, hostapd and wireless interface with static IP

hi,
there way networkmanager allows me set static ip wlan1 interface in order prepare hostapd? created configuration entry “wireless connection 1”, set static ip (192.168.0.1) netmask (255.255.255.0) , gw (0.0.0.0), infrastructure mode, ssid “test”. expected set regardless of whether it’s connected nonexisting “test” network or not, hostapd meant rest, i.e set master mode. no luck: hostapd sets correctly, don’t have ip address of wlan1.

best regards
teel
