Thread: Lenovo x120e randomly suspends when unplugged

new these forums, been running linux (mostly mint) past few years wanted run ubuntu/unity on new lenovo x120e laptop.

i'm having 1 serious problem , admittedly not remotely sure begin looking fix.

when laptop unplugged , running battery, screen randomly go dark , system enter suspend mode. wakes up, suspend again, making laptop unusuable. have rebooted, updated, , problem keeps occurring. running jupiter disabled , uninstalled, suspend issues keep happening. laptop suspends regardless of battery life, it's done when i've had 20% , when i've had full battery. on couple of occasions, did not wake @ all.

had installed kubuntu 11.10 , did not see issue, didn't care kde (personal preference).

wondering if can give me hints start diagnosing problem, or wondering if else has laptop , has experienced these issues? can point clueless new user in right direction. can add more information if helpful, not sure information be.
