Creating, updating & merging portfolios with adobe IX & X

so merged utility , our have gone through usual growing/reduction pains.  year later have decided systems keep/toss.  decided keep our e-mail system (lotus notes better or worse) , rid of outlook.  new director refuses transfer on because loose of archived e-mail in outlook. of background, not person, play resident 1 in environmental department.  manage our databases , did research when department wasn't willing her.  it's pain have 1 person out of 40 on different calendaring system.

 

also, have acrobat x standard , has acrobat ix standard if matters.

 

can move portfolios, having heartburn on size of files , having make multiple portfolios. i've read files , tutorials, don't seem match i'm seeing when test runs in e-mail.  i'm having divide file folders multiple portfolios, fine, hoping able merge/combine them once saved on network. don't seem able that.  commands don't appear in lists.  when right click doesn't give me choice.  can add files, not other portfolios.  thoughts?

sorry cannot merge pdf portfolios, nor can edit portfolios created mail client plugins outlook or lotus.
