Unable to open IDAP file

i designer working in indesign (both cs6 , cc - needed upgrade client prefer work in cs6 else) , incopy(cc). 

 

have been able exchange assignments , forth (using email) work flow. however, latest 2 idap files not open. when click on file message: 'the package file contains assignment doesn't exist in "filename.indd" package file may out of date or associated different document, how want continue?' the options browse , find indesign document, or save document. when browse find document, same error message - , becomes , unending loop?

seriously doesn't seem worth struggle since small magazine , happier getting mimimum edits simpler method acrobat markups- client far insistent want go route, , interested in learning going on. response making me think problem original id file might(?) have beencreated in cs6 , incopy assigments saved in cc? make sense? suggested ways proceed?

the issue assignments , packaging once you've created

package cannot rename, move or otherwise modify indesign file

in way confuse idap package back. saving

from cs6 cc cause honest, it's

something never do.

 

as mentioned in other thread, might want

dropbox workflow avoid packaging.
