Automating the assembly and stamping of forms

hello all,

 

my job has repetitive aspect feel automated.  create technical instructions packets our production staff, consists of:

  1. title page
  2. the build instructions
  3. technical drawings

 

i realize compile these 3 elements single pdf, create more problems solve.  company work very small, , drawing replacements (due obsolescence or revision) done hand.  fewer places drawing exists, smaller chance forget replace it, leading major problems.  drawings shared between different products, furthering confusion.  when order comes in, steps to:

 

  1. apply information title page (customer, contract #, part number, etc)
  2. print out latest revision build instructions , technical drawing package
  3. manually stamp each page hand "approved production" date stamp (as part of our quality management system)
    1. this stamp has 3 fields on it: job, qty, , approved by
  4. fill in job, qty, , approved fields on stamp of every page hand

 

i have been experimenting adobe livecycle designer 8 lately, creating "front page" can input data , have automatically fill in matching text fields on title page.  created master page "approved production" stamp automatically filled in data on "front page" well.  hit wall.  this:

 

  1. fill in appropriate data on "front page"
    1. this data populates text fields on title page
  2. click button attach/import pdf appended form
    1. browse , attach latest revision of build instructions pdf
    2. browse , attach latest revision of technical drawings pdf
  3. each of attached pdf pages stamped/overlaid in lower right approved production date stamp, relevant job , qty fields therein automatically filled in data input "front page."
  4. (optional) save flattened copy of stamped/filled in pdf

 

is possible without having either upgrade livecycle or resort adobe server-side solution?  not wish involve database or external data sources, keeping local , simple best.

i appreciate time.  if able give me push in right direction, appreciative.  though programming experience best described "non-existent," ready go great extents in order rid myself of robotic task

Adobe Acrobat Pro , Terminal Server Use

hello,   a fellow employee requires adobe acrobat pro installed use, , management me have sorted out. employee uses thin client connect terminal server of administration work.   i require single license adobe acrobat pro used single user.   will there license issues installing adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   can install adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   thanks, david hi david,   yes, can install acrobat terminal servers... !   the licensing terminal server considered normal licensing process, means need buy many number of licenses acrobat number of users accessing terminal server (like citrix) access software. eg if 10 users accessing citrix server @ particular time use acrobat software need 10 licenses same. when i try using AE CC 3d camera tracker after the first step it says "Analysis solve failed." help?

im attempting editor , trying edit segment video game (bo2) , im trying have text stick wall in video. every time try using camera tracker spends 5 minutes completing first step , guess succeeds because goes second step says "solving camera" or that, red bar appears saying "analysis solve failed." do? if you're trying use 3d camera tracker on movie froma vieo game not shot real camera, camera tracker unable solve "real" camera matched scene.
