Slow performance, and bounding box is bigger than the selection

i use imac 2009, 2.93 ghz inter core i7, 8gb ram, 1tb hd. file has many artboards. there's  56 artbord. artbords 960x640 pixel, rgb, 72ppi.

i experience slow performance working on 87mb ai file. , weird bounding box (not always) when select anything. photo explains case:tinygrab screen shot 8-15-13 12.09.33 am.png

the selection @ left see. bounding box reaches last artbord @ right has no elements @ all. if don't drag mouse select elements, , click once on object, bounding box appears if selecting other object in same time far selection creates big bounding box.

 

also, when copy elements 1 artbord, , go , hit cmd+f (which should paste object in same place in new artbord that's selected same in arbord copied from) doesn't paste in artbord, find out pastes in artbord didnt select. works right doesnt.

 

i opened new file less artbords same settings, program still slow , takes time every move make.

 

i must mention having issues osx mountain lion, such *** laggy animations in operating system example when enter full screen in safari. should expand safari window , slide right opens in new desktop, happens doesn't move in animated mode, becomes big , slide animation doesnt happen. don't know if of has lagg of program.

 

i'd appreciate this, lot in advance.

when i try using AE CC 3d camera tracker after the first step it says "Analysis solve failed." help?

im attempting editor , trying edit segment video game (bo2) , im trying have text stick wall in video. every time try using camera tracker spends 5 minutes completing first step , guess succeeds because goes second step says "solving camera" or that, red bar appears saying "analysis solve failed." do? if you're trying use 3d camera tracker on movie froma vieo game not shot real camera, camera tracker unable solve "real" camera matched scene.
