Importing .wma audio format

i sent audio file in .wma format.  when try import it, desk top, grayed out.   tried moving itunes doesn't show @ all. 

 

i appreciate information on how or need person send me in different format?

oops. remembered using premiere elements 11 mac. recollection correct? if so, cannot import wmv or wma premiere elements 11 mac. can conver .mp3 format?
