Thread: Hide unauthorized folder using Samba on Ubuntu 12.04 desktop


hello all. have ubuntu 12.04 on computer. installed samba , learn how configure it. i'm able share folder other computer on same network using samba.

tried browse shared folder using windows , found folders visible, although don't have permission un-authorized folder. how hide un-authorized folder if don't have access it?

i've read related post question , said must include hide unreadable = yes smb.conf file. i've tried seems not work me? still can see un-authorized folder when access server.

can me? sorry bad english. thank
