Thread: Dual graphics card problem

i'm kind of new computers dual graphics card, , have months hp dv6-6195sp, amd radeon hd 6770 , intel 3000 graphics (something that), core i7 processor. far, i've been using win7, , working intel graphics card, while amd active when needed (games, , software requires more graphic power).

installed ubuntu (dual boot), , drivers amd radeon graphics card. unaware of how ubuntu works dual graphics card computers, opened catalyst control center , noticed tab "switchable graphics", or similar. there 2 options - 1 enables amd card maximum performance, , other option uses intel graphics card save energy. thought ubuntu work windows, using amd card when needed, chose second option - disable amd card , use intel card only. restarted computer, , then, when logging in ubuntu, message appears saying problem must have occured graphics card , isn't active (for obvious reasons). then, lets me sign in , use ubuntu through command line (similar windows' cmd).

question how reverse did , activate amd graphics card again through command line? or should install intel's graphic card drivers (and how)? in advance

maybe in wrong forum section?
