Problem with Reader file when we try to save a pdf version of filled in file.

we create fillable forms in acrobat xi , enable them fill-in acrobat reader.  our end users able key information , save enabled pdf file reader, want create protected version of form nothing can modified once have approved it.  have been creating "locked" pdf versions of completed form using cutepdf software.  pdf files creating open fine acrobat pro xi or our free foxit reader, when try open files created cutepdf acrobat reader, quite distorted.  according users, worked older versions of acrobat reader.  please let know if have suggestions (other switching acrobat reader free foxit reader.

can't endorse foxit or cutepdf, since don't use either of them, , adobe doesn't endorsing thrid party products in forums anyway. on top of know several people had bad adware experiences foxit, i'd stay away it.

 

most neither of these software developers has updated thier software work acrobat/reader xi , problem lies them, since pdf adobe format , must follow lead here, not vice-versa.

i have been searching time way edit metadata of video file created along de-novo file. specifically, vlc example, displays metadata text when begins playing file. trying access to. seems me, if there way create metadata in first place, there *must* way edit it. how? using either 11.04 or 12.04 kubuntu. nautilus it's nice icon displays of photos , vids. typically use gwenview , gimp photos , vlc , avidemux video. these tools work things, occasionally, there video has wrong or verbose metadata , far have found no way edit stuff. vlc has option purports work in cases, not reliable, looking swiss-army-knife solution can handle multiple formats (avi/wmv/mpg/mp4/etc/etc) in manner exfalso audio files.
