A reinstall of CS4

i uninstalled indesign cs4 after getting plug-in error messages. great mistake after reinstalled software program unusable have virtually no menus. 3 under window, 4 under edit, no text editing commands, no sidebar. if click file new page opens immediately, without allowing me set size, no. of pages, etc , there no page commands under layout. open 1 of indd files cannot edit there no editing commands. help

which os using. try uninstall cs4 , run cleaner tool : http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html remove leftover ruminants , install again.
