Accessing dialog boxes in DW CS6

dreamweaver cs6 software not automatically bring dialog boxes when functions invoked, hyperlink dialog box , select image source dialog box.  there ways these functions without dialog boxes, know why don't automatically pop when follow instructions laid out in david mcfarland's "the missing maual" book or various online tutuorials on youtube.com , elsewhere.

  wondering if possibly due fact purchased , downloaded software online retailer called www.newoemsoftware.com @ discounted price.  given serial number , can register software, think nothing suspect software.

it highly unlikely problems because of purchasing discounted version of software. sure, can try closing other applications open on computer, , try opening dialog boxes in dw?

 

also, build number have? use > information.
