Newer flash player not opening SWFs

hi everyone

 

i'm teacher , having problem opening student swf files. believe many of students still in flash cs6, or perhaps cs5.


i have flash cc installed. looks flash player 11.7.700.169. have flash player 11.4.402.265, understand flash cs6 player??

 

when try open swf view, closes immediately. can open .fla fine., although when has happened looks students have used tlf text, , message flash cc saying unsupported. if have done fonts don't have, can't see work intended. intro class, haven't learned embedding yet.

 

my hunch tlf text won't run in newer flash player. i'm wondering why swf doesn't come okay version 11.4xxx.  ideas on can ?

1.  if not embedding fonts , don't have font used 1 of students, won't see project same way see it.

 

2.  said, should still able see swfs.  open swf (or better, embedding html) in web browser has flash player plugin..
