Read past threads, Premiere 11 still won't open

my system (simple version)

 

core i7

16gb ram

nvidia geforce 560 2gb dedicated video ram - updated drivers

i update quicktime/itunes

 

i purchased/downloaded product amazon.

 

install went smoothly, rebooted (note: every time reboot win8 thinks has crashed due applecharger.sys paging error or whathaveyou. i'm ready disassociate things apple in near future, how do when premiere needs qt?)

 

i go open first time. can choose between organizing pictures (why want - organized way) or opening editor.  select editor, nothing happens. reboot. open premiere. nothing happes. read these forums. open admin. nothing happens.

 

i have pretty bare bones system, software-wise. if it's installed, it's because need it, generally, except nonsense comes having itunes -but kind of need that, , qt.

 

if premiere 11 truely not compatible because of vst's (i'm audacity user) etc., forced money back. need work, though. hate sony vegas. that's why.

well, movie studio terrific program too. know because i've written how-to books both programs!

 

anyway, here's first thing i'd try.
