Thread: Recommendations for safe/effective downloads for bittorrent files?

i installed qbittorrent software center, , installed vuze. i'm new using bittorrents; first thing i've noticed it's hard sort through junk, , porn, , webmobsters somehow turn search "ubuntu" list of downloads "colledge girls."

sic. in more ways one.

make recommendations how use bittorrenting effectively? maybe "how past porn" ... "how avoid corrupt torrents ...?" etc.

first effort trying download site:http://torcache.net/torrent/0e081283...4717dd.torrent

instantly got warning in vuze file "does not appear bittorrent." of course that's other issue noobs have--how tell corrupt or malicious file apart (useful) one.

stick reputable sources torrents. there lot of dodgy torrent sites out there. pirate bay used , porn-free, notice they've got too, can filter out.

careful getting software or operating systems torrent sites. downloading ubuntu fine if .torrent ubuntu.com, don't ever install unless you're sure it's 100% kosher.

check comments on torrent sites. if isn't purports be, or poor quality, people so.
