Thread: hard disks errors?

hi all.

execute smartctl weekly on disks , has never reported wrong.

today playing e2label , got:
code:
e2label: bad magic number in super-block while trying open /dev/sdc1 couldn't find valid filesystem superblock. e2label: filesystem revision high while trying open /dev/sdd1 couldn't find valid filesystem superblock.
extra info: sdc , sdd part of raid5 array.

thought smatctl reliable enough, isn't it?
how can investigate further?

thanks.

just looking opinion , suggestion, fit raid management , disk health...
