Adobe Reader Downloadhost problem

since 7/25 have had problem downloading game company have used 6 years.  microsoft support , game company cannot fix problem yet.  seems center around adobe reader receive following message.  "adobe reader not open msn3e downloadhost.  file sent e-mail attachment , wasn't correctly decoded."  games not sent e-mail attachment.

sorry, not understand; kind of file - pdf?  if not, should not opened adobe reader.

 

what operating system?
