hi, got new 2tb hard drive wanted use media pc. i'm trying duel boot ran issue number of partions in windows. here partitions

42gb ubuntu
1gb swap
65gb windows 7
100mb(?) parition windows force make
1700gb media.

when tried format , mount 1700gb windows complained can allow 4 paritions. , if converted dynamic disks let me have more 4! without furture research converted dynamic , horror found version of windows support dynamic , linux doesn't suuport it. think i'm going format , start beginning again here questions

1. if delete partitions become basic partition again?
2. possible have 5 partitions , me mounted on windows? (quite sure ubuntu won't have annoying issue)
3. order partition , install?
e.g 1. parition windows + media , install window. 2. parition linux , install ubuntu?
4. better have exfat or ntfs media parition compatiblity purpose? i'm going having large movie files fat32 isn't enough more.

many thanks!

if delete partitions become basic partition again?
you have unallocated space (entire disc).
if want delete partitions , start new installation first install windows.after install ubuntu.when install ubuntu maybe idea have separate home partition.that way files & setings safe in case choose reinstall, fresh install...you can install ubuntu on logical partition , way avoid 4 primary partition limit.for ubuntu install

1. root=10-15gb mountpoint /
2. swap=~2gb
2. home= rest of space want give ubuntu mountpoint /home

format partitions ext4.
partition media format fat32 because ubuntu doesn´t see exfat.
