Thread: How much of a dead end is IE for Ubuntu?
traditionally, company requires me use internet explorer, instantly walk away , cross them off list of possibilities. several video surveillance manufacturers fell category when searching cameras. said, cannot apply mentality situation because it's work scenario beyond control. maintenance crew runs ubuntu on lenovos, 1 of hvac systems requires ie activex. ietab chrome dead end, , machines low powered enough i'm not sure virtual instance of xp work. best idea have on table setting vm of windows on server , having crew remote desktop it.
internet explorer on linux of dead end? or there someway, somehow way on linux box?
gotta use wine believe, not sure of recent version of ie can run though.
use virtual, or dualboot windows setup.
if meant job based on ie take job.
loyalty open source not functional approach life in opinion @ least me.
there many other areas can put change in ways of thinking , acting one, rather quaint, @ least me wasted approach.
