Thread: Still having issues connecting to wifi hotspots

back when had windows pull given place has wifi , connect without issue ubuntu 11.10 isn't happening. public networks aren't secured @ lower end hotels, cafes , fast food restaurants have little redirect sends user agreement page.

browser firefox on occasion redirect 75% of time won't , can't on internet without agreeing user agreement. have reset connection several times before starts working properly. issue here because problem more , more on nerves.

edit: connection doesn't last more few minutes before it's lost. "look for..." or "unable connect" sound familiar?

try go home network or internet access can , install java runtime plugins i.e java jre, java applet , java sdk lot of agreement pages made using java applet try , see if redirect browser using.
