error message: unable to download error getting license

yesterday, refused download. waited day see if server problem. last night, same issue , again morning. trying add book. had .acsm file extension know drm protected file , ade used download book with. had no problems this  before.

possible reason ...

 

 

sometimes ade gets registration/activation confused , in semi-authorized state.

uninstalling , reinstalling not help.

unfortunately, gives misleading error messages wrong.

a common incorrect message informs id in use on computer , cannot reused.


this can resolved removing authorization using ctrl-shift-d library screen on ade (cmd-shift-d if on mac).

restart ade, , reauthorize (old) adobe id.
