Thread: Lenovo thinkpad edge e520 wireless


hey everybody,

received lenovo thinkpad edge e520. put ubuntu 12.04 on , worked out of box except wireless. finds network, can't connect it. tried putting on 11.10 see if problem specific 12.04, no success. after hours googling haven't found single solution, in desparation i'm turning

please try driver parameter:

disconnect ethernet cable , see if can connect. if so, write file make permanent.

use nano or leafpad or vim if don't have text editor gedit. add single line:

proofread carefully, save , close gedit.
