Thread: ubuntu as print server

i have installed 12.04 lts 32bit on system. system has 2 printers. epson 1390 , hp designjet 111. both recognised ubuntu , test page printed fine.
have enabled these 2 printers , shared them well. unable install them printing through xp.

how configure ports on xp printing through linux server?

i believe need have cups installed in order windows machines print printers attached linux server.

tried setting print server manually installing of components failed miserably due noob-level linux skills.

however, able setup zentyal print server quite , worked great.
