Thread: About upgrade to ubuntu 12.04 LTS

hi all,

ubuntu 11.04 desktop host (64bit)
ubuntu 9.04 desktop vm (64bit)
virtualizer oracle virtualbox

followed "network upgrade ubuntu desktops 10.04 lts 12.04 lts (recommended)" on;
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/pr...s_to_12.04_lts

"update" , "install update" went through without problem. after finish needs reboot os. after reboot pressing "check", "upgrade" doesn't appear.

$ uname -a
code:
linux ub1004dktop02 2.6.32-41-generic #88-ubuntu smp thu mar 29 13:10:32 utc 2012 x86_64 gnu/linux
$ uname -r
code:
2.6.32-41-generic
the kernel not ubuntu 12.04 lts. pls help. tia

i confused. have or did have 10.04 installed? this

ubuntu 11.04 desktop host (64bit)
ubuntu 9.04 desktop vm (64bit)

so, why did follow instructions specific 10.04 or 11.10.

if upgrading 11.04 12.04 have first upgrade 11.10 , upgrade 11.10 12.04. recommended method.

possible upgrade 1 lts release (10.04) next lts release (12.04) , upgrade last release (11.10) next release (12.04) cannot jump 11.04 12.04 or 10.10 12.04.

have upgraded 11.10. run command

and see whether have 11.10 or 12.04 or what?

hello,   a fellow employee requires adobe acrobat pro installed use, , management me have sorted out. employee uses thin client connect terminal server of administration work.   i require single license adobe acrobat pro used single user.   will there license issues installing adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   can install adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   thanks, david hi david,   yes, can install acrobat terminal servers... !   the licensing terminal server considered normal licensing process, means need buy many number of licenses acrobat number of users accessing terminal server (like citrix) access software. eg if 10 users accessing citrix server @ particular time use acrobat software need 10 licenses same. when i try using AE CC 3d camera tracker after the first step it says "Analysis solve failed." help?

im attempting editor , trying edit segment video game (bo2) , im trying have text stick wall in video. every time try using camera tracker spends 5 minutes completing first step , guess succeeds because goes second step says "solving camera" or that, red bar appears saying "analysis solve failed." do? if you're trying use 3d camera tracker on movie froma vieo game not shot real camera, camera tracker unable solve "real" camera matched scene.
