Is there a way to cut down on the "suction power" of the drop items in drag and drop?


i trying develop game user has correctly space objects 1 depending on relationship 1 is.  drop objects transparent , user has place drag item on top of it. problem when user doesnt place drag object directly on top of drop object, nevertheless gets pulled object . 1.  want there virtually no pull power.  2. the user able continuously click on drop object , move until thinks correctly, , object stay dropped -- dont want pulled origin.

what referring called snapping behaviour.  in cp version of drag , drop, there's no way turn off.

 

if not intending output html5, trial infosemantics drag , drop widgets.

the drag , drop widgets have option turn off snapping behaviour altogether user can place object wants before submitting answer. 

 

just remember target object drag object's 'hit' area. way flash hit areas work means if drag object touches part of hit area, counted success.  size of hit area determines how precise user has in hitting target.  it's not determined whether or not target , hit area same size , user places drag object on top of target.
