Thread: Multiple DVB cards not tuning

hi,
have moved on mythdora mythbuntu, ubuntu 11.10 (gnu/linux 3.0.0-12-generic i686). have 3 dvb cards, 2 same brand seem load correctly fail scan.
have tested cards tzap , found 1 card work.
details below, i'm not sure problem. great.

fixed it!
more detailed search of log file showed tda1004x firmware not loading because not inlcuded in version of mythbuntu.
found these files on older system

/lib/firmware/dvb-fe-tda10045.fw
/lib/firmware/dvb-fe-tda10048-1.0.fw
/lib/firmware/dvb-fe-tda10046.fw

, copied them /lib/firmware

3 tuners work now.
why small , simple left out of latest mythbuntu?
