is there advantage in using organizer *** opposed iphoto, wher picts reside, and, if so, how import them organizer?

the main advantage organizer can save unlimited number of different versions of photos. main disadvantage it's not well-integrated other mac programs way iphoto is. can use either, or neither, depending on preference. organizer more things, iphoto more polished performer, imho (and don't care either of 'em).

 

if want try out organizer can judge yourself, export photos iphoto desktop, put them want keep them, use file>get photos>from files , folders import them. if decide organizer, can use "from iphoto" option duplicate iphoto library organizer's use. (this time pse makes copies on import, avoid inadvertently writing iphoto library, way corrupt , lose photos. otherwise organizer makes database entry photo.)
