Rendering issue with 9.5 and 9.5.5
i have 2 pdf files display simple test image consisting of 3 colored rectangles. in one, image displayed blendmode normal, in other, blendmode multiply on white background.
the latter causes color shift. files bit-for-bit identical, except 1 has /bm /multiply , other /bm /normal . (yes, 2 spaces real.) there text on page well.
this reported me under reader 9.5.5 under windows xp; have reproduced under 9.5.0 under windows 7.
the same files both display correctly under 11.0.03. since reporter under xp, can't tell him upgrade.
the image embedded xobject png encoded.
if @ displayed pixel, here's see:
| color | good | bad |
|---|---|---|
| red | ff0000 | ee1f25 |
| blue | 0000ff | 3552a5 |
| pink (ish) | ff0080 | ec107f |
"good" original png image , blendmode normal display. bad 9.5.x displays.
the file multiply displays correctly under xp gsview - seems definite rendering bug in reader.
i don't see way attach files note, can provide files.
what tell colleague/other users? 9.5 being updated kind of bug? or xp users stuck issue?
