hello new ubuntu , have encountered couple of problems. on these problems. aware of problems have answers posted on forum have not found far.

first system data:
ubuntu version: 12.04 (64 bit)
laptop model: gateway nv78
processor: intel® core™2 duo cpu t6600 @ 2.20ghz × 2
graphics card: intel corporation mobile 4 series chipset integrated graphics controller (rev 07)
graphics driver: vesa: intel(r)cantiga graphics

if need other information me problems ask.

problems have encountered:

1. @ startup screen appears black. computer still makes "ding" sound when login screen appears. around running in low graphics mode reconfiguring graphics every time start computer. there way permanently fix this?

2. optimal screen resolution not appear in list of available resolutions. highest resolution 1024*768. have added 1600*900 xrandr when choose option message appears tells me resolution larger maximum resolution. how fix problem?

3: opengl not run when try run world of warcraft. have not tried other games far. have been told problem intel graphics card. thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1799781 tells me need use driconf fix problem, having issues making work.

4. apps on dock don't display tooltip when scroll on them , when right click on them not give me options such "quit" or "unlock launcher"

new ubuntu try give me simple instructions can follow. direct me threads can me solve of problems.

i´m not expert,but did try install drivers card additional drivers?

Adobe Acrobat Pro , Terminal Server Use

hello,   a fellow employee requires adobe acrobat pro installed use, , management me have sorted out. employee uses thin client connect terminal server of administration work.   i require single license adobe acrobat pro used single user.   will there license issues installing adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   can install adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   thanks, david hi david,   yes, can install acrobat terminal servers... !   the licensing terminal server considered normal licensing process, means need buy many number of licenses acrobat number of users accessing terminal server (like citrix) access software. eg if 10 users accessing citrix server @ particular time use acrobat software need 10 licenses same. when i try using AE CC 3d camera tracker after the first step it says "Analysis solve failed." help?

im attempting editor , trying edit segment video game (bo2) , im trying have text stick wall in video. every time try using camera tracker spends 5 minutes completing first step , guess succeeds because goes second step says "solving camera" or that, red bar appears saying "analysis solve failed." do? if you're trying use 3d camera tracker on movie froma vieo game not shot real camera, camera tracker unable solve "real" camera matched scene.
